1. Who we are

Sandeep Design Studios ("we", "us", "our") operates this website and the online interior design courses sold on it. We are based at New Town, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. For any privacy question you can reach us at sandeepdstudios@gmail.com or +91 70594 84454.

2. Information we collect

• Account details you give us at checkout: full name, email address and phone number.
• Your password, which is stored only in an irreversible hashed form. We can never read it, and no member of our team can see it.
• Purchase information: which course you bought, the amount, the coupon used, the payment status and the Razorpay order and payment reference. We never receive or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or bank credentials.
• Learning activity: which lessons you opened, how far you watched, your completion percentage and any certificate you generate.
• Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring link and approximate location derived from your IP.
• Any message, question or support request you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp.

3. How we use your information

• To create your student account and unlock the course you paid for.
• To process your payment, verify it and issue a receipt or handle a refund request.
• To send you account and course emails: login details, access confirmation, updates to lessons, and replies to your questions.
• To track your progress so you can resume where you left off and download your certificate on completion.
• To keep the platform secure: detecting shared logins, blocking brute-force login attempts and preventing coupon or payment fraud.
• To measure our advertising and improve the website and course content.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to anyone, and we do not send your data to unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

4. Who processes your data for us

• Razorpay Software Private Limited — payment processing. Your card and bank details go directly to Razorpay over an encrypted connection and are governed by Razorpay's own privacy policy.
• Our hosting and database provider — secure storage of your account, enrollment and progress records.
• YouTube (Google) and Wistia — video playback. These services may set their own cookies when a video loads.
• Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Conversions API — measuring which adverts led to enrollments. We share a hashed (scrambled) form of your email and phone with Meta for this matching; Meta cannot reverse the hash to read the original value.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies: a secure session cookie that keeps you logged in, local storage that remembers your video position and whether you have already seen an offer, and the Meta Pixel for advertising measurement. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalised ads in your Facebook and Instagram ad preferences. Blocking the login cookie will prevent you from accessing the course dashboard.

6. How we keep your data safe

• All traffic to and from this site is encrypted with HTTPS.
• Passwords are hashed, never stored in readable form.
• Database access is protected by row-level security so one student can never read another student's data.
• Login attempts are rate limited to block automated password guessing.
• Payment signatures are verified on our server before any course access is granted.

No online system can be guaranteed to be one hundred percent secure, but we take these measures seriously and review them regularly.

7. How long we keep your data

Because course access is lifetime, we keep your account and enrollment records for as long as your account exists. Payment and invoice records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. If you ask us to delete your account we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except records we must legally retain, and your course access will end permanently.

8. Your rights

You may ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, delete your account, or withdraw consent for marketing measurement. Email sandeepdstudios@gmail.com from your registered email address and we will respond within 30 days.

9. Children

This course is intended for adults. If you are under 18 you may only purchase and use it with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, whose contact details must be used at checkout.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services change. The revised version will always be published on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
